Don’t Rush It with Kayla Fuller
As a teenager, Kayla Fuller discovered that her family medical history gave her an 85% chance of getting breast cancer. Meeting with doctors over the next few years led her to make the hard decision to be proactive in her approach to preventing the likelihood she would end up with life threatening cancer later in life. She joins me on this week’s podcast episode to share her dating journey through her double mastectomy and an engagement that ended just before.
Kayla and I met through Jaime Palmucci, former guest on the podcast, an episode titled Moving On. When I heard her story and learned more about her mission in life to share without fear, I leapt at the chance to connect her with our audience through the podcast. She imagines that there are many other women out there scared of what the future holds when navigating the dating scene here in Denver, Co.
